Happy Holidays from the Carver Family

We have had such a fantastic year and we are so grateful for every minute of it all!
It has been very busy around our home, with kids running back and forth from soccer to ballet, we are definitely busy bees!
Cameron is having so much fun at Pre-School with Ms. Shelley. He is learning so much and loves going to her house during the week to see "all of his friends"! Not only is he learning his letters and numbers but he can also do his letters in sign language! We are impressed! He's learning new words and can even write a few on his own: Dad, Mom, cars, toys, blue and now puppy! Pretty soon he'll be in Kindergarten because we here in West Jordan run on a year round school schedule, so in July he will be a kindergartner! It's hard to believe he's already big enough for school.
Lauren loves school as well. She is a second grader in Mrs. Ellis' class with all of her best friends from our neighborhood. They walk to and from school with each other every day and even has dance class with a few of them. She stays busy with Ballet two times a week and when the warmer weather hits - LOOK OUT! She is an awesome soccer player! She especially loves playing the forward position, she just wants to make goals at each game and when she does, what a celebration! We play soccer each season with her buddies from the neighborhood and those girls are real competitors! Their coach this year was very impressed at how well they listened and learned.
We splurged this season and bought ski passes for us and the kids, so now we visit "Dr. Snow" once in a while when we can all go up to the mountains together. The best part of year round school is having days off for play during the winter months!
Aaron and I took a nice, relaxing trip to Mexico for our tenth anniversary, yep - 10 YEARS!!! Can you believe it? It feels like yesterday that we were married and planning for a family! What can I say? Time flies when you're having fun! And we've had plenty of it.
Our family hopes that you and yours have a great Christmas and that you remember what is really important this year: family. With the hardships and ordeals we go through during our lives, we can always count on family to be there for us and to support us in whatever is going on. We love each and every one of those close to us, Merry Christmas and have a safe and Happy New Year!
